Incorporated in 1950, the company has its roots in glassmaking in Germany going back to 1888. Founder and company Chairman Mr. Gerhard W. Schuller has family history and connections in the glassmaking industry worldwide, his father W. Schuller being the inventor of the world renowned Schuller "Updrawing" process for the manufacture of glass tubing.
