Venmore sells 29 lots at final property auction of 2011

Property firm Venmore, has earned nearly £1.9m as a result of selling 29 lots in the last property auction of 2011. The auction was held at the Hilton Hotel in Liverpool. Geoff Guest, the firm's commercial director, said: “We saw great sales on the auction day itself, with the majority of sales coming from vacant residential properties. The real best-seller was lot 30 – a spacious fourth-floor, two-bedroom duplex apartment situated in the Hatton Garden development, which sold for £33,500 above the guide price at £138,500.”
