Jaguar Land Rover rises in graduate employers listing

Jaguar Land Rover has climbed 27 places to 60th in the Times Top 100 Graduate Employers index – a listing of Britain’s most respected and sought-after graduate employers in 2011. This endorsement of the graduate programme comes only weeks after Jaguar Land Rover welcomed 336 new graduates in to its business – the largest single intake of graduates in the company's history. Des Thurlby, Jaguar Land Rover HR director, said: "To see Jaguar Land Rover rise up the ranks of this influential survey is incredibly encouraging, particularly given we were new entrants last year. As a business we are at a very exciting juncture as we prepare to bring 40 new product actions to market over the next five years thanks to a multibillion pound investment in product creation. This is clearly a journey that many people want to share with us, as attested by the 8,500 strong bank of applications we had for this year’s graduate intake."
