Insolvency firm Begbies Traynor expects growth from weak outlook

Insolvency firm Begbies Traynor is hopeful for future growth next year. The last six months have been satisfactory for the firm as it reported revenues for the six months to October 31 of £29.4m in contrast with £29.8m the last year. Chairman Ric Traynor said: “I am pleased to report a solid performance in the last six months against the background of a continuing uncertain economic environment in the UK. Activity levels in the UK insolvency market have stabilized which, combined with the benefits of our restructuring in the prior year, has resulted in improved operating margins for the group.”
