Hydrock leads by example to win office award

When construction services company Hydrock needed additional office space at its head office premises in Almondsbury, the company was determined to put its commitment to quality and sustainability into practice. The result was a renovation and conversion of a grade 2 listed farmhouse, parts of which date back to 18th century, which has just been recognised in three award categories at a recent Local Authority Building Control (LABC) Awards Ceremony. The farmhouse now houses 2 meeting rooms and office accommodation for up to 30 personnel and incorporates a host of high quality, sustainable features which earned the development a commendation in the LABC Awards category for ‘Best Small Commercial Development’, a finalist place in the ‘Best Sustainable Development Category’ and outright winner of the ‘Best Technical Development’ Category.
