Alternative Investment Market listings set to increase, says Deloitte

According to the findings of a recent research, the alternative investment market listings is all prepared to rise in the first half of this season on the very first occasion since 2007. Paul Lupton, who is the North West head of corporate finance advisory at Deloitte, while commenting on it said, “Since the number of companies on AIM peaked at 1,694 at the end of 2007, we have seen an almost non-stop decline in numbers to 1,150 companies listed as at November 30, 2011, a reduction of approximately one third.”
