Farebrother & Partners strive for excellence in the field of Structural and Civil Engineering
Farebrother & Partners, formed in 1963, has developed a successful and comprehensive service tailored to suit specific Client requirements in the fields of Structural and Civil Engineering. Our services include procurement and interpretation of geotechnical investigations, advices on remediation of “brownfield” sites, a range of foundation designs to suit site specific needs, design/detailing/specification for buildings in structural steelwork, concrete, masonry and timber, aluminium-framed temporary structures and inspection of buildings for demolition or refurbishment.
For Civil Engineering works, we provide detailed design/specification for highways* and external pavings, sewerage* (including culverts, pumping stations and balancing ponds), earthworks, Flood Risk Assessments and Transportation Assessments. -- (* including works for adoption).
A particular advantage to our Clients is the ability for us to fully integrate the Structural and Civil Engineering design of projects. The size and organization of the Practice is structured to ensure that every project is monitored by a Director, to whom each Client has easy direct access, thereby ensuring the development of sound practical designs within cost and budget. In March 1997 we gained Quality Assurance accreditation which now complies with BS EN ISO 9001:2008.
The Practice provides expert witness services at Public Inquiries, Planning Appeals and at litigation.
