Sales increase at London bookseller Foyles

Foyles, one of the UK's most popular booksellers, has seen an increase in sales by 10% on a like-for-like basis over the year to July. the increased has been attributed to a strong performance over Christmas. The retailer, which is best-known for its branch on London's Charing Cross Road, said that operating profit increased five-fold over the year to June 30 to £434,588, up from £80,625 the previous year.
